FAQs
Service & Process Questions
What is that scratching sound in my attic? Scratching or scurrying noises in ceilings or attics are often signs of squirrels, raccoons, mice, or rats. We perform thorough inspections to determine exactly which species has moved in and how they are getting inside.
How do animals get into my home? Wildlife is extremely persistent; they often find entry through roof vents, soffits, chimneys, or even gaps along your home's foundation.
Do I need to leave my home during treatment? Most humane wildlife removal methods, like one-way doors, allow you to stay in your home while the animals exit safely on their own.
Humane & Safety Questions
Is your wildlife removal process humane? Yes, we prioritize animal welfare by using one-way exit doors that allow animals to leave but not return. If babies are involved, we use specialized warming boxes to keep them safe until their mother can move them to a new den site.
Why can't you just trap and relocate the animals? Relocating wildlife more than one kilometer is often illegal in Ontario and can be inhumane, as animals moved to unfamiliar territory have a very low survival rate. One-way doors are a much more effective and humane solution.
Are your methods safe for my family and pets? Our first priority is your health and safety. We focus on non-chemical, environmentally friendly exclusion methods whenever possible to ensure your home remains safe for everyone
Business & Warranty Questions
Do you offer a warranty on your work? Absolutely. We stand behind our repairs with a comprehensive warranty (typically 5 year) to ensure that if an animal returns through one of our guaranteed repairs, we’ll come back to fix it at no extra cost.
Are you licensed and insured? Yes, we are fully licensed by the Ministry of the Environment and carry comprehensive liability insurance. This protects both our team and your property during every job.
Will you clean up the mess left behind? Wildlife can leave behind significant damage and biohazards. We offer full decontamination and attic cleaning services to remove nesting materials and restore your space to a safe condition.
